Jose Olmos killed his wife Jessica Olmos and two children, then turned the gun on himself in Amarillo

A tragic murder-suicide occurred in Amarillo, Texas, on Saturday evening. Jose David Olmos, 42, fatally shot his wife, Jessica Rose Olmos, 33, and their two children before taking his own life.

The incident took place around 6:30 p.m. at 3600 NE 14th Ave.

A family member discovered the bodies and immediately called 911.

Police confirmed that Jessica and her children, Jazele and Daniel, had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died at the scene.

The home was secured by crime scene tape as authorities from the Homicide and Crime Scene Units investigated the incident.

Man injured after shooting at Southside Park in Simpsonville

Greenville County, S.C. — The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office has launched an investigation following a shooting that left one male victim injured.

Deputies were dispatched to the area of 417 Baldwin Road, near Southside Park, after receiving multiple reports of gunfire around 4:46 p.m. on Monday.

Shortly after the initial reports, authorities were informed that a male victim had arrived at Hillcrest Hospital suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

The victim’s condition has not been disclosed at this time.

No arrests have been made, and no suspects are currently in custody.

The investigation remains in its early stages as deputies continue to gather evidence and interview potential witnesses.
