Man killed in Blytheville shooting

Blytheville, Arkansas – A tragic shooting incident occurred in Blytheville, Arkansas on Sunday evening, resulting in the death of a man.

The Blytheville Police Department responded to the scene in the 600 block of South Ruddle around 10:30 p.m., where they discovered a vehicle riddled with bullet holes.

Inside the car, officers located an unresponsive male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

Despite immediate medical attention, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are currently under investigation.

  • Report accountability to their chain of command.

An “All Clear” notification will be issued once the situation has been resolved.

Outbound traffic is now permitted through designated gates; however, each vehicle is subject to thorough inspections.

This applies only to individuals who were already inside their vehicles prior to the update.

Additionally, Pulaski Elementary School, located near Hunter Army Airfield, has been placed on precautionary lockdown as a safety measure, according to the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System.
