18-year-old James Mack Jr shot and killed during physical altercation in Glassport, suspect James Martin arrested
An 18-year-old man, James Mack Jr., was tragically killed in a shooting incident in Glassport, Pennsylvania, on Sunday afternoon.
Allegheny County Police responded to a call about a shooting in the 500 block of Monongahela Avenue around 3 PM.
Upon arrival, they discovered Mack deceased at the scene.
According to witness accounts, the shooting stemmed from an altercation between Mack and 17-year-old James Martin.
Martin allegedly shot Mack multiple times before fleeing the scene.
Martin was later apprehended by Clairton police and has been charged with criminal homicide, carrying a firearm without a license, and possession of a firearm by a minor.
The Allegheny County Police Department is continuing its investigation into the incident.

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. — Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred at the MGM National Harbor Hotel and Casino, leaving one man dead and another injured. Prince George’s County Police confirmed the fatality in a statement released on social media.
According to investigators, two adult men were struck by gunfire during the incident.
One victim was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries.
The second victim sustained a non-life-threatening injury after a bullet grazed him and was treated at the scene or a nearby medical facility.
Police stated that the suspect fled the location immediately after the shooting and remains at large.
