A 23-year-old Indiana man has been arrested and charged with making threats against former President Donald Trump after allegedly posting multiple threatening videos on TikTok, federal authorities announced Thursday.

According to a criminal complaint filed by the FBI, Douglas Thrams posted a series of videos between Monday—when Trump was inaugurated—and Wednesday, in which he allegedly threatened anti-government violence and called for the assassination of the former president.

In one of the videos cited in the complaint, Thrams reportedly stated, “Every U.S. government building needs to be bombed immediately.” He further escalated his rhetoric by saying, “He [Trump] needs to be assassinated, and this time, don’t… miss,” using explicit language.

Authorities noted that Thrams’ statements were particularly concerning in light of previous assassination attempts targeting Trump, including an incident last year at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where the former president sustained a minor injury to his ear.

Additionally, an FBI affidavit revealed that in another video, Thrams was seen holding a rifle and tapping it, an action investigators interpreted as an implied threat.

Thrams was taken into custody on Thursday and has been charged with “interstate communications with a threat to injure,” a federal offense.

The case remains under investigation, and authorities have not disclosed any further potential threats. Thrams is expected to appear in federal court in the coming days.

Florida State University (FSU) in Tallahassee was placed on lockdown Tuesday following an active shooter situation that left six people injured—one critically—according to law enforcement officials.

Suspect has been identified as 20-year-old Phoenix Ikner, son of leon county sheriff. He was student at FSU.

A suspect has been taken into custody in connection with the incident.

Police believe there was only one shooter at Florida State University.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is tracing the serial numbers on the guns that were recovered, one of those officials said.

The FBI’s office in Jacksonville is making resources available to state and local police, according to another official.

The shooting occurred near the FSU Student Union, prompting an immediate emergency response from campus and city police.

The university issued an urgent alert advising students and staff to seek shelter, lock all doors, and stay away from windows.

“Police are on scene or on the way. Lock and stay away from all doors and windows and be prepared to take additional protective measures,” the university’s alert stated.

In the aftermath of the shooting, disturbing video footage circulated on social media showing a victim with a gunshot wound lying outside one of the campus buildings.

Emergency medical teams quickly responded, and at least four of the injured individuals were transported to local hospitals.

Authorities later confirmed the total number of victims as six.

According to two law enforcement sources with direct knowledge of the situation, the suspect was found in possession of a handgun at the time of his arrest.

A shotgun was also recovered from inside the Student Union, and another firearm was discovered in the suspect’s vehicle.

As a precaution, FSU canceled all classes and events for the remainder of the day.

The university also urged anyone not already on the main campus to avoid the area.

“Individuals not already on the main campus at this time should avoid coming to the Tallahassee main campus,” FSU posted on its emergency advisory website.

Local and federal law enforcement agencies continue to investigate the incident, and additional updates are expected as more information becomes available.
