Authorities in Ross County, Ohio, are investigating an incident involving shots fired that resulted in a suspect being critically injured.
According to the Ross County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO), deputies responded to an emergency call regarding a male suspect attempting to break into a residence.

Man Fatally Shot in Overnight Incident in Cincinnati’s College Hill Neighborhood

CINCINNATI, OH – A 30-year-old man was killed in an overnight shooting in Cincinnati’s College Hill neighborhood, authorities confirmed.
According to Captain Stephen Bower of the Cincinnati Police Department, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 1600 block of Pasadena Avenue at approximately 12:47 a.m. on Thursday.
Upon arrival, officers discovered Levonte Hyde, 30, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
He was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with life-threatening injuries but later succumbed to his wounds on Thursday morning, according to homicide investigators.
Authorities have questioned a juvenile as a person of interest in connection with the case.
However, no arrests have been announced, and the circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation.
