19-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot in Chesterfield County, 24 shell casings found at the scene

Chesterfield County, SC – A 19-year-old man was fatally shot in Chesterfield County on Sunday night after more than two dozen rounds were fired, striking him multiple times in the chest, authorities confirmed.

Deputies from the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence on John Ralph Lane, just off Highway 52, shortly after 10:00 p.m. following reports of a shooting.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered the victim, identified as Johnathan Alexander Williams, lying on the ground, deceased.

Investigators recovered 24 shell casings at the scene, along with five bullet holes in the side of the house.

Officials noted that neighbors reported hearing gunfire around 7:30 p.m., but did not initially call authorities because such occurrences are common in the area.

A neighbor reported seeing a white Toyota Camry leaving the driveway of the residence around the time of the incident.

Authorities have not yet confirmed whether any suspects have been identified or arrested.

The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED), has launched an active investigation into the homicide.

Man Fatally Shot in Overnight Incident in Cincinnati’s College Hill Neighborhood

CINCINNATI, OH – A 30-year-old man was killed in an overnight shooting in Cincinnati’s College Hill neighborhood, authorities confirmed.

According to Captain Stephen Bower of the Cincinnati Police Department, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 1600 block of Pasadena Avenue at approximately 12:47 a.m. on Thursday.

Upon arrival, officers discovered Levonte Hyde, 30, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with life-threatening injuries but later succumbed to his wounds on Thursday morning, according to homicide investigators.

Authorities have questioned a juvenile as a person of interest in connection with the case.

However, no arrests have been announced, and the circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation.
