46-year-old Antwan Washington shot and killed in North Tulsa
Tulsa, Okla. — A man was shot and killed Sunday night in North Tulsa, authorities have confirmed.
On April 27, 2025, around 10:00 p.m., Tulsa Police officers responded to reports of gunfire near a residence in the 800 block of East 52nd Street North.
Neighbors had called 911 after hearing multiple gunshots in the area.
Upon arrival, officers discovered 46-year-old Antwan Washington inside the home, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.
Paramedics quickly transported Washington to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
According to witness statements, a small party or gathering had been taking place at the residence throughout the evening.
Investigators are working to determine the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
Tulsa Police detectives are actively seeking information about a potential suspect or any individuals who may have been involved.
