Fatal Industrial Accident Under Investigation at Hy-Tech Mushroom Compost Facility in Chester County

LONDON GROVE TOWNSHIP, PA (CHESTER COUNTY) — Authorities are investigating a fatal industrial accident that occurred at the Hy-Tech Mushroom Compost facility, located at 155 Valley Road in London Grove Township.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the site following reports of a worker becoming trapped in industrial machinery.

Upon arrival, first responders confirmed that the individual had sustained fatal injuries as a result of the incident.

Despite the efforts of emergency personnel, the worker was pronounced dead at the scene.

The identity of the deceased has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.

The incident is currently under investigation by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) in coordination with local law enforcement and industrial safety officials to determine the cause and circumstances surrounding the fatality.

WALKER COUNTY, Ala. — Alabama State Troopers are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that claimed the life of a 63-year-old man Thursday evening in Walker County.

Authorities identified the victim as Roger D. Naramore, a resident of Nauvoo, Alabama.

The collision occurred shortly before 7:30 p.m. on Alabama Highway 5, approximately five miles north of Jasper.

According to Senior Trooper Gregory Corble, Naramore was operating a Suzuki VZ800 motorcycle when he collided with a Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by 32-year-old Kayla House.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene, but Naramore was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of his injuries.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
