HOUSTON, TX — A series of connected shootings that began as a suspected road rage incident in Sugar Land and continued across southwest Houston have left four people dead, including the gunman, authorities confirmed.

According to officials, there were three separate but related shootings that unfolded Monday afternoon—one in Sugar Land and two in southwest Houston—all believed to have been committed by the same individual.

First Shooting: Fatal Road Rage in Sugar Land

The first incident occurred shortly before 1:00 p.m. in the 12900 block of Dairy Ashford Road near U.S. 90.

Second Shooting: Two Men Killed at Houston Auto Shop

At approximately 1:45 p.m., Houston Police responded to reports of a drive-by shooting at an auto repair business in the 13000 block of Fondren Road.

Investigators say the same suspect from the earlier Sugar Land shooting drove to the location and opened fire, killing two men.

According to police, one of the victims, a mechanic, was working on a vehicle when he was shot. A second man, who attempted to record the suspect on his cellphone, was also shot multiple times. Both men died from their injuries at the scene.

Third Shooting: Gunman Takes His Own Life

Roughly 15 minutes later, at around 2:00 p.m., Houston Police responded to another shooting approximately 2.9 miles away, in the 8000 block of Creekbend Drive.

When officers arrived, they discovered the suspect had turned the gun on himself. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
