On November 19, 2025, at approximately 6:24 p.m., officers with the Tiffin Police Department responded to a report of gunfire and screaming in the 100 block of Huss Street.

Upon arrival, officers located several victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Preliminary findings indicate the incident occurred during an attempt by the mother of two children to remove personal belongings from the residence due to ongoing domestic conflict.

Prior arrangements had been made with Dustin Willey, 29, the father of her oldest child, to assist with the move while her husband, Ryan Eagon, 42, was believed to be out of town for work.

According to the investigation, the mother and Dustin were inside the home gathering belongings while the two children—ages 7 years and 7 months—remained outside near a vehicle. After hearing the older child cry out, they went outside and observed Ryan Eagon in the driveway.

Based on witness statements and physical evidence, Eagon immediately pursued Dustin, pushing past the mother and firing multiple rounds. He then turned the firearm toward the children, fatally shooting both, before continuing to fire at Dustin.

Following the shootings, Eagon died from what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The mother reported that she carried the injured children back into the home while awaiting first responders.

Officers and Tiffin Fire and Rescue provided emergency medical care at the scene.

Dustin Willey was transported to Tiffin Mercy Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The 7-month-old infant and Ryan Eagon were pronounced deceased at the scene.

The 7-year-old child was transported to a medical facility but later succumbed to his injuries.

No officers discharged their weapons, and no law enforcement personnel were injured.

The children’s mother—who was present during the entirety of the incident—placed the emergency call.

This remains an active investigation with assistance from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Seneca County Coroner’s Office.

Autopsies are pending.

The Tiffin Police Department recognizes the tragic impact of this event on the families involved, first responders, medical professionals, schools, and the broader community. Grief and counseling resources are being coordinated for those affected.

Carrie Greene, shared the following public account describing the devastation felt by the family:

“I watched my grandson take his first breath seven years ago, and last night, I watched him take his last. My daughter, Raven Broski, held him, comforting him and telling him he could let go. His beautiful blue eyes and long eyelashes could still be seen through his bloodied face.”

She explained that her daughter was attempting to leave a domestic violence situation and had been packing belongings with the help of Dustin Willey when the attack occurred.

“Ryan Eagon — my daughter’s husband, the stepfather to Wrenn and father to baby August — parked down the street and entered the house without warning. He immediately shot and killed Dustin, then shot my 7-year-old grandson Wrenn three times, and then shot 7-month-old August in the head while he sat in his car seat. My daughter begged him to kill her too, but instead, he turned the gun on himself.”

Carrie described Dustin as an exceptional father and deeply caring person, saying:

“Regardless of the ups and downs between him and Raven, I always loved him like a son. He was dedicated to protecting his child and the people he cared about.”

She also shared memories of the children:

  • Wrenn, age 7, was intelligent, energetic, funny, and recently celebrated his birthday on November 14.
  • August, the infant, was described as affectionate and joyful, and had recently begun saying “mom.”

Carrie continued:

“My daughter is the best mother I know. All she ever wanted was to stay home and love her babies. Now she is shattered, and our family is devastated.”

She ended with a plea to others experiencing abuse:

“If you are in a domestic violence situation—please listen to your instincts. Leave. Now. And please keep my daughter, our family, and Dustin’s family in your prayers.”

Orlando, Fla. — Family and friends of 33-year-old Julien Emmanuel Cruz are seeking answers and accountability following his fatal shooting outside a popular LGBTQ+ nightclub early Sunday morning.

According to the Orlando Police Department, officers responded at approximately 2:31 a.m. on February 22, 2026, to the 1900 block of North Orange Avenue, just north of Lake Ivanhoe, in reference to a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located Cruz suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Authorities confirmed Cruz was born May 18, 1992.

Detectives determined that prior to the shooting, Cruz and the suspect were involved in a verbal and physical altercation on the sidewalk outside the nightclub district. Investigators say that during the dispute, the suspect retrieved a firearm from his vehicle and shot Cruz.

The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle, which patrol officers later located in the 200 block of East New Hampshire Avenue, approximately two blocks from where the shooting occurred.

Police subsequently arrested 37-year-old Jean Gabriel Borja Gil De La Madr (DOB: October 29, 1988). He has been charged with Second Degree Murder with a Firearm. Authorities confirmed this case marks the third homicide in Orlando in 2026.

Cruz’s father, Anthony Cruz, said his son and his partner had been at Savoy Orlando enjoying the evening before the violence unfolded.

According to the family, as the couple exited the club after closing time, a vehicle sped past them. Cruz’s partner allegedly yelled toward the occupants of the vehicle, prompting the car to stop. A physical altercation then reportedly began between Cruz’s partner and one of the individuals from the vehicle.

“When they fought, my son saw that was happening. My son went to intervene, and when he intervened, another guy got out of the car, and he got shot,” Anthony Cruz said. “My son didn’t deserve what happened. All I have left is a shirt — a shirt with a bullet hole.”

While police have charged Borja Gil De La Madr, Cruz’s family maintains that another individual may have been directly responsible for pulling the trigger. Authorities have not publicly confirmed whether additional suspects are being sought.

A small memorial has formed across from the nightclub, where members of the community have gathered to honor Cruz’s memory.

Joshua Cooper, owner of Savoy Orlando, said the tragedy has deeply impacted the LGBTQ+ community, even though the shooting occurred off the club’s property.

“I didn’t know the victim, but from everything I’ve been told, I wish I had,” Cooper said. “He seemed like a great kid. Seeing a family that is so heartbroken and so supportive of this community says so much.”

The Orlando Police Department has not released additional information regarding potential additional suspects. Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the altercation and shooting.

Anyone with information related to this case is encouraged to contact the Orlando Police Department or Crimeline.
