Suspect Ryan Eagon Fatally Shoots Son, Stepson, and Dustin Willey Before Taking His Own Life in Tiffin
On November 19, 2025, at approximately 6:24 p.m., officers with the Tiffin Police Department responded to a report of gunfire and screaming in the 100 block of Huss Street.
Upon arrival, officers located several victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Preliminary findings indicate the incident occurred during an attempt by the mother of two children to remove personal belongings from the residence due to ongoing domestic conflict.
Prior arrangements had been made with Dustin Willey, 29, the father of her oldest child, to assist with the move while her husband, Ryan Eagon, 42, was believed to be out of town for work.
According to the investigation, the mother and Dustin were inside the home gathering belongings while the two childrenโages 7 years and 7 monthsโremained outside near a vehicle. After hearing the older child cry out, they went outside and observed Ryan Eagon in the driveway.
Based on witness statements and physical evidence, Eagon immediately pursued Dustin, pushing past the mother and firing multiple rounds. He then turned the firearm toward the children, fatally shooting both, before continuing to fire at Dustin.
Following the shootings, Eagon died from what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The mother reported that she carried the injured children back into the home while awaiting first responders.
Officers and Tiffin Fire and Rescue provided emergency medical care at the scene.
Dustin Willey was transported to Tiffin Mercy Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The 7-month-old infant and Ryan Eagon were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The 7-year-old child was transported to a medical facility but later succumbed to his injuries.
No officers discharged their weapons, and no law enforcement personnel were injured.
The childrenโs motherโwho was present during the entirety of the incidentโplaced the emergency call.
This remains an active investigation with assistance from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Seneca County Coronerโs Office.
Autopsies are pending.
The Tiffin Police Department recognizes the tragic impact of this event on the families involved, first responders, medical professionals, schools, and the broader community. Grief and counseling resources are being coordinated for those affected.
Carrie Greene, shared the following public account describing the devastation felt by the family:
โI watched my grandson take his first breath seven years ago, and last night, I watched him take his last. My daughter, Raven Broski, held him, comforting him and telling him he could let go. His beautiful blue eyes and long eyelashes could still be seen through his bloodied face.โ
She explained that her daughter was attempting to leave a domestic violence situation and had been packing belongings with the help of Dustin Willey when the attack occurred.
โRyan Eagon โ my daughterโs husband, the stepfather to Wrenn and father to baby August โ parked down the street and entered the house without warning. He immediately shot and killed Dustin, then shot my 7-year-old grandson Wrenn three times, and then shot 7-month-old August in the head while he sat in his car seat. My daughter begged him to kill her too, but instead, he turned the gun on himself.โ
Carrie described Dustin as an exceptional father and deeply caring person, saying:
โRegardless of the ups and downs between him and Raven, I always loved him like a son. He was dedicated to protecting his child and the people he cared about.โ
She also shared memories of the children:
- Wrenn, age 7, was intelligent, energetic, funny, and recently celebrated his birthday on November 14.
- August, the infant, was described as affectionate and joyful, and had recently begun saying โmom.โ
Carrie continued:
โMy daughter is the best mother I know. All she ever wanted was to stay home and love her babies. Now she is shattered, and our family is devastated.โ
She ended with a plea to others experiencing abuse:
โIf you are in a domestic violence situationโplease listen to your instincts. Leave. Now. And please keep my daughter, our family, and Dustinโs family in your prayers.โ

New Mexico Teen Darren Munoz Charged With Orchestrating Parentsโ Murders in Alleged Financial Plot
A 19-year-old New Mexico man is facing multiple murder-related charges after authorities allege he arranged the killings of his father and stepmother as part of a plan to gain control of their finances and property.
Darren Munoz, 19, is accused of recruiting a friend, 18-year-old Julio Zamora, to carry out the fatal shootings of Oscar Munoz, 58, and Dina Munoz, 71, inside the familyโs home in Clovis, New Mexicoโlocated more than 200 miles east of Albuquerque.
Both suspects were taken into custody on Monday, December 15.
According to an arrest affidavit, investigators believe the killings were premeditated and planned over the course of weeks or months. Authorities allege Munoz intended to seize his parentsโ assets and financial holdings and believed his father owned an Allsups convenience store franchise, a chain operating hundreds of locations across Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.
Prosecutors allege the plan called for Zamora to enter the residence through the garage during the early morning hours and shoot both victims while they slept.
Investigators also identified a second individual as a potential backup should Zamora fail to carry out the plan.
Police were dispatched to the Clovis residence at approximately 4:50 a.m. on December 15 after receiving a report of a possible burglary.
Upon arrival, officers found Munoz standing near the open garage.
According to police, Munoz told officers there was no emergency and attempted to dissuade them from entering the home, stating his parents were asleep.
Officers were eventually permitted inside the residence.
Investigators state that Munoz later emerged from a bedroom with blood on his hands.
Both Oscar and Dina Munoz had sustained gunshot wounds to the head. Dina Munoz was pronounced dead at the scene, while Oscar Munoz was transported to a hospital in Lubbock, Texas, where he later died from his injuries.
Munoz reportedly told investigators he was awakened by the sound of the garage door alarm but claimed he did not hear any gunshots.
Authorities noted that this account appeared inconsistent with the homeโs layout.
Investigators also reported there were no signs of forced entry and no evidence that property had been stolen.
Additional evidence surfaced during the investigation, including statements from Munozโs girlfriend, who told police he had previously discussed trading an AR-style rifle for another firearm.
Surveillance footage reportedly shows Munoz carrying a 9mm Glock handgun several hours before the killings. Investigators also confirmed that Munoz, Zamora, and others had recently purchased 9mm ammunition together.
Zamora was later arrested outside his residence, where authorities recovered a 9mm Glock handgun believed to have been used in the murders.
Investigators allege Zamora admitted that Munoz asked him to kill his parents.
Darren Munoz is charged with two counts of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, and solicitation to commit first-degree murder.
Julio Zamora faces two counts of murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
Both defendants have entered not guilty pleas as the case proceeds through the court system.
