One killed in Paradise shooting, suspect 32-year-old Kindall Woodward arrested

A fatal shooting occurred in Paradise, California, early Sunday morning near the intersection of Pentz Road and Drayer Drive. One person lost their life in the incident, and a suspect has been taken into custody.

The shooting followed an argument and physical altercation between a 32-year-old Oroville resident and a 21-year-old Magalia resident.

The Magalia resident, whose identity has not been released, was fatally shot during the altercation.

The suspect, identified as Kindall Alan Woodward, 32, of Oroville, has been arrested and charged with murder. The Butte County District Attorney’s Office and Sheriff’s Office are actively investigating the incident.

Nevaeh Day and Brooke Woods found safe

UPDATE: Nevaeh and Brooke have been found and are both at home.

The Ferguson Police Department and concerned family members are seeking the public’s assistance in locating two missing girls: Nevaeh Day and Brooke Woods.

According to Carla King, a relative, both girls were last seen together and were believed to be headed to STEAM School Park, located on South Florissant Avenue across from the BP gas station in Ferguson.

A friend reported meeting them at the park, and stated that the girls parted ways around 7:00 p.m.

Brooke Woods is described as a Black female who was last seen wearing a white hooded jacket and black leggings.

Nevaeh Day was wearing a gray Nike shirt and blue jean shorts. Both girls are noted to have bright red hair.

Anyone who has seen Nevaeh Day or Brooke Woods, or who may have information about their whereabouts, is urged to contact Carla King directly or reach out to the Ferguson Police Department immediately.
