Suspect Timothy Walker Charged, Wanted in Fatal Shooting of Harry Boone During Dominoes Game with Friends

Houston, Texas – Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a man on Tuesday, October 8th.

The shooting occurred at approximately 7:05 PM in the 5910 block of Schroeder Road.

The suspect, Timothy Walker, 24, is charged with murder in the 482nd State District Court.

Walker is currently at-large and believed to be driving a black, 2019 Chevrolet Malibu with Texas license plates #VCT1721 in the southeast Houston area.

The victim has been identified as Harry Boone, 59.

According to HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Ponder and Detective J. Meister, HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the apartment complex and discovered Boone unresponsive on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound.

He was pronounced dead by Houston Fire Department paramedics.

Witnesses reported that Boone was playing dominoes with friends when an unidentified suspect approached him from behind and struck him on the head.

An argument ensued, and the suspect pulled out a pistol and shot Boone before fleeing the scene.

Further investigation identified Timothy Walker as the suspect, and he was charged for his role in the shooting on Wednesday, October 9th. Walker remains at-large.

Two San Antonio Police officers shot at West Side hotel, suspect killed 6800 block of U.S. Highway 90 westbound, near Military Drive

SAN ANTONIO, TX — Two San Antonio police officers were shot during an incident on the city’s West Side Wednesday morning, according to Police Chief William McManus. The suspected gunman is also reported to be down.

The shooting occurred shortly after 8:30 a.m. in the 6800 block of U.S. Highway 90 westbound, near Military Drive, in the parking area of the Travelodge Motel.

Multiple emergency medical units were dispatched to the scene following reports of officers injured by gunfire.

When officers responded to the location, an exchange of gunfire ensued, resulting in both officers being struck.

The suspect was also shot during the confrontation.

The conditions of the officers have not yet been released, and it remains unclear how severe their injuries are.

The access road along U.S. Highway 90 westbound has been closed as police secure the area and conduct a full investigation.

A large law enforcement presence, including tactical and crime scene units, remains on site.

Chief McManus confirmed that additional details will be provided during a scheduled press briefing later today, as investigators work to determine the events leading up to the shooting and whether any additional suspects were involved.

Residents are urged to avoid the area as the investigation remains active.
