Suspect Timothy Walker Charged, Wanted in Fatal Shooting of Harry Boone During Dominoes Game with Friends

Houston, Texas – Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a man on Tuesday, October 8th.

The shooting occurred at approximately 7:05 PM in the 5910 block of Schroeder Road.

The suspect, Timothy Walker, 24, is charged with murder in the 482nd State District Court.

Walker is currently at-large and believed to be driving a black, 2019 Chevrolet Malibu with Texas license plates #VCT1721 in the southeast Houston area.

The victim has been identified as Harry Boone, 59.

According to HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Ponder and Detective J. Meister, HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the apartment complex and discovered Boone unresponsive on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound.

He was pronounced dead by Houston Fire Department paramedics.

Witnesses reported that Boone was playing dominoes with friends when an unidentified suspect approached him from behind and struck him on the head.

An argument ensued, and the suspect pulled out a pistol and shot Boone before fleeing the scene.

Further investigation identified Timothy Walker as the suspect, and he was charged for his role in the shooting on Wednesday, October 9th. Walker remains at-large.

In the early hours of November 6, 2024, a tragic shooting unfolded on the 1000 block of N. Wright Street in Alice, Texas.

Around 1:00 a.m., officers from the Alice Police Department responded to emergency calls reporting gunfire in the area.

Upon their arrival, they discovered a male victim lying face down in the driveway. Inside the home, officers found a second male and a female, each suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Emergency responders transported all three victims to Spohn Shoreline Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Tragically, despite medical efforts, the female victim, identified as Kirsten Saenz, was pronounced dead at 3:05 a.m. from her injuries.

Both male victims remain in critical condition and are receiving intensive medical care.

The suspect in the case has been identified as 30-year-old Matthew Garcia, a resident of Alice, Texas. Garcia is currently wanted on charges of murder and two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The Alice Police Department has launched an intensive manhunt and is appealing to the public for assistance. Authorities urge anyone with information on Garcia’s whereabouts to contact local law enforcement immediately to aid in his apprehension.
