A tragic shooting at Lafayette Laundry on South Street has left one man dead and three others injured, according to the Lafayette Police Department.

The incident occurred on Thursday evening around 7:41 p.m., prompting a swift response from authorities.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered a deceased male victim in the parking lot.

Inside the laundromat, they located three additional victims suffering from gunshot wounds: two men and one woman.

One of the male victims is reported to be in critical condition and was airlifted to a hospital in Indianapolis for advanced care.

The other male and female victims are currently in stable condition and receiving treatment at a local hospital.

Middletown, Ohio — Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal weekend shooting in Middletown as 49-year-old Christopher Bullock, according to the Butler County Coroner’s Office.

Officers with the Middletown Police Department responded around 12:00 p.m. Sunday to reports of gunfire in the area of Roosevelt Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers located two individuals who had sustained gunshot wounds.

Bullock was pronounced deceased at the scene.

A second victim was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. Officials have not released the condition of the surviving victim.

At this time, police have not announced any arrests or identified a suspect.

Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
