Authorities have identified Noah Tribioli, a Pennsylvania resident, as the suspect in a fatal shooting that occurred Saturday morning in Calhoun County, West Virginia. The incident, which unfolded at a residence along the 5900 block of Pine Creek Road near Mount Zion, left two people dead and two others injured, one critically.

Grantsville, WV – A Pennsylvania man has been arrested in connection with a tragic shooting in Calhoun County that claimed the lives of two individuals and left two others injured, including his father.

According to a statement from the West Virginia State Police, troopers were notified of a shooting incident on Pine Creek Road in Grantsville at approximately 8:28 a.m. on Saturday, December 28.

Calhoun County Sheriff Graham Knight responded to the scene around 8:59 a.m., where he discovered two victims—51-year-old Jodee Tribioli of Grantsville, WV, and 71-year-old Carole Heagy of Mount Gretna, PA—deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.

Two additional victims, including the suspect’s father, had sustained gunshot injuries but were still alive.

The investigation was handed over to the West Virginia State Police, who identified 28-year-old Noah Richard Tribioli of Columbia, PA, as the suspect in the shooting.

Tribioli was located later in Fayette County, WV, where he was apprehended without incident.

Noah Richard Tribioli has been formally charged with the following offenses:

  • Two counts of first-degree murder
  • Two counts of attempted first-degree murder
  • Two counts of malicious wounding
  • Two counts of attempted felony

He is currently being held at the Southern Regional Jail without bond.

The suspect’s father remains in critical condition, while the other injured victim is listed as being in stable condition, according to the West Virginia State Police.

The Calhoun County community is reeling from the violence, and local authorities have expressed their commitment to ensuring justice for the victims.

BOULDER CITY, Nev. — Authorities are investigating a vehicle ramming at a power substation near Boulder City as a terrorism-related incident after the suspect, identified as Dawson Noah Maloney of New York state, intentionally crashed into the facility before fatally shooting himself.

During a press conference, law enforcement officials confirmed that Maloney had traveled from New York to Nevada in a rental vehicle.

License plate reader data tracked his cross-country route.

Investigators also revealed that he had recently been reported missing in New York and had communicated with family members shortly before the incident.

According to authorities, Maloney made statements referencing self-harm and expressing a desire to commit an act that would garner media attention.

In a message to his mother, he reportedly referred to himself as a “dead terrorist son” and stated he felt obligated to carry out the act.

A search of the suspect’s hotel room uncovered materials and literature consistent with preparations for a violent act. Investigators recovered books related to various extremist ideologies, including right- and left-wing extremism, environmental extremism, white supremacy, and anti-government movements.

Law enforcement also located explosive materials and components, including thermite, ammonium nitrate, magnesium ribbon, metal pipes, and gasoline.

A subsequent search of the rental vehicle revealed:

  • Two shotguns
  • An AR-style pistol
  • Numerous loaded AR magazines containing .223 ammunition
  • A box of shotgun shells
  • Two devices described as flamethrowers containing thermite material
  • A crowbar and a hatchet
  • A cellular phone, which is currently undergoing forensic analysis

Authorities further confirmed that the suspect was wearing soft body armor at the time of the incident.

Officials stated the incident is being treated as a terrorism-related event, and the investigation remains active.
