Bloomfield, NJ – On Wednesday, the Bloomfield Police Department responded to a report of unauthorized juveniles near Bloomfield High School.

As a precautionary measure, the school was immediately placed on lockdown and cleared by officers.

After a thorough investigation, it was determined that the individuals had left the area. In collaboration with the Bloomfield Board of Education and school staff, all necessary safety protocols were implemented to protect students.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported. While the high school resumed normal operations, some parents opted to pick up their children early.

The Bloomfield Police Department has successfully identified the juveniles involved and has taken one into custody.

BARTOW, FL — Authorities are investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred at 120 Polk Street East in Bartow.

The incident resulted in three individuals sustaining gunshot wounds, including a Bartow Police Department (BPD) officer, a public safety aide (PSA) officer, and the suspect involved.

Emergency medical services were immediately requested at the scene to provide critical aid to all three gunshot victims.

The conditions of the injured individuals have not yet been released.
