Shooting Incident in Jackson, Suspect in Custody
A shooting incident occurred on Page Avenue in Jackson. According to reports, a suspect pulled a gun and fired shots.
Law enforcement officers responded to the scene and engaged with the suspect.
During the encounter, the suspect sustained a hand injury.
No officers were injured.
The suspect was ultimately taken into custody.

Baton Rouge authorities are investigating the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Anthony Robinson, a student at Scotlandville Magnet High School, who was killed Monday afternoon in the 1900 block of Bradfield Avenue near Scotland Avenue.
According to police, Robinson was shot just before 3 p.m. on March 10, shortly after stepping off a school bus.
Investigators believe the shooter, a 16-year-old suspect, was responsible for the attack.
The suspect was later apprehended with the assistance of East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office (EBRSO) deputies and has been booked into the East Baton Rouge Juvenile Detention Center on charges of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, and illegal use of weapons.
