Rockdale County, GA – A fatal officer-involved shooting occurred at a Chevron gas station on Sigman Road in Conyers, Georgia, on Wednesday morning.

Conyers Police Department responded to a call about a disturbance at the gas station, where a man was refusing to leave.

A confrontation ensued, leading to the officer-involved shooting.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has taken over the investigation into the incident.

41-year-old Andres Fonseca killed after shooting in Rogers

ROGERS, ARK. – Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Saturday morning in Rogers, which left one man dead, according to the Rogers Police Department (RPD).

Officers responded to multiple reports of gunfire just after midnight on March 8, in the 3100 block of South B Street.

Upon arrival, they discovered a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

Emergency personnel transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

On Sunday, authorities identified the deceased as 41-year-old Andres Fonseca.

Preliminary findings indicate that the incident was isolated, and there is no ongoing threat to the public, according to RPD officials.

However, authorities have not released details regarding a potential suspect, a motive, or the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
