The Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) is investigating a deadly shooting that occurred early Saturday morning outside Showgirl One, a nightclub near the intersection of Goshen and Coliseum.

At approximately 3:20 a.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting outside the establishment.

Upon arrival, they discovered a female victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

Despite efforts from bystanders who performed CPR, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has been identified as Marilu Munoz.

A Gofundme has been created by family member to help funeral costs.

In addition to the fatality, two other individuals sustained injuries during the incident.

Both were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Initial investigations suggest the violence stemmed from a fight that escalated into gunfire in the nightclub’s parking lot.

Authorities have clarified that no shots were fired inside the venue.

Currently, no suspects are in custody. However, police have stated there is no ongoing threat to the public.

The FWPD is urging anyone with information about this incident to come forward.

42-year-old Kevin Garr dead after Clifton Heights shooting

CINCINNATI, OH – A 42-year-old man was fatally shot in Clifton Heights on Saturday afternoon, prompting an investigation by the Cincinnati Police Department (CPD) Homicide Unit.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting in the 600 block of Riddle Road at approximately 4:13 p.m. on March 9.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim, later identified as Kevin Garr, 42, suffering from a gunshot wound.

Emergency responders transported Garr to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.

Detectives from the CPD Homicide Unit have launched an active investigation and are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
