The Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) is investigating a deadly shooting that occurred early Saturday morning outside Showgirl One, a nightclub near the intersection of Goshen and Coliseum.

At approximately 3:20 a.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting outside the establishment.

Upon arrival, they discovered a female victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

Despite efforts from bystanders who performed CPR, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has been identified as Marilu Munoz.

In addition to the fatality, two other individuals sustained injuries during the incident.

Both were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
