Fatal Shooting in Duquesne Leaves One Dead, Another Critically Injured
Duquesne, PA – A man is dead, and a woman is in critical condition following an early morning shooting in Duquesne, according to the Allegheny County Police Department.
Authorities report that at approximately 5:00 a.m. on Monday, emergency dispatchers received a call regarding a shooting in the 100 block of Commonwealth Avenue.
Upon arrival, first responders discovered an adult male and an adult female inside a residence, both suffering from gunshot wounds.
The male victim, identified only as Sean, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The female victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where she remains in critical condition, receiving treatment for her injuries.
The Allegheny County Police Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation and is currently working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
