Tulsa, OK – Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred early Saturday morning at an apartment complex in midtown Tulsa, near 51st Street and Yale Avenue. According to the Tulsa Police Department (TPD), officers responded to reports of gunfire at the complex and discovered a 17-year-old victim who had been fatally shot. Investigators believe the shooting was targeted, as the suspects were reportedly aware of the victim’s presence inside the apartment and fired through a window.

According to the Tulsa Police Department (TPD), officers responded to reports of gunfire at the complex and discovered a 17-year-old victim who had been fatally shot.

Investigators believe the shooting was targeted, as the suspects were reportedly aware of the victim’s presence inside the apartment and fired through a window.

At the time of the incident, the victim’s mother and two juvenile witnesses were also inside the apartment.

Authorities have not released their identities but confirmed they were unharmed.

As of Saturday, no arrests have been made, but police are searching for up to three suspects believed to be involved in the shooting.

Law enforcement officials are actively gathering evidence and reviewing surveillance footage to identify those responsible.

Suspect Arrested in Fatal Shooting at Café Olé on San Antonio’s River Walk

SAN ANTONIO, TX — A 20-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting at Café Olé on the River Walk, according to the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD).

The shooting occurred at approximately 1:06 a.m. on Sunday in the 500 block of the River Walk.

According to a preliminary SAPD report released Monday, the suspect, identified as Talano Garcia, allegedly approached the victim and shot him in the head for reasons that remain under investigation.

Garcia then fled the scene.

Authorities confirmed that both Garcia and the victim, 43-year-old David Alvarado, were employees of Café Olé.

The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office later confirmed Alvarado’s identity, stating that he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Shortly after the incident, police received a separate call from a family member at a different location, reporting that their relative may have been involved in a shooting near the River Walk.

Officers responded to the address, where they arrested Garcia without incident.

Garcia has been charged with murder, and the investigation remains ongoing.
