1 Killed After Shooting in Wolf Point, Armed Suspect Ethan Murphy at Large
On Sunday, September 28, 2025, at approximately 8:40 p.m., the Wolf Point Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the parking lot of Albertsons, located at 415 Blaine Street.
Upon arrival, Officer Bushman located two victims:
One individual was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A second victim was found suffering from a gunshot wound.
Officer Bushman immediately rendered life-saving medical aid until emergency medical personnel arrived.
The injured victim was subsequently transported to Trinity Hospital in Wolf Point for treatment.
The identities of the victims are being withheld pending notification of their next of kin.
The suspect has been identified as Ethan Murphy, age 26. Murphy remains at large at this time.
Authorities believe he may be armed and dangerous.
Wolf Point residents are strongly urged to shelter in place and remain vigilant.
Anyone who sees Ethan Murphy or has information regarding his whereabouts should call 911 immediately.
In addition to the Wolf Point Police Department, responding agencies included the Fort Peck Tribes Patrol and Criminal Investigation Unit, the Wolf Point Fire Department, and the Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office.

25-Year-Old Adrian Scott Arrested and Charged in Connection with July Bomb and Arson Investigation
St. Louis, MO — Authorities have arrested and charged 25-year-old Adrian Scott in connection with a July incident that sparked a Bomb and Arson investigation after a video surfaced on social media showing a man deliberately throwing fireworks at people and property.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, Scott was taken into custody two days ago following an extensive investigation by detectives assigned to the department’s Bomb and Arson Unit.
He now faces one count of Promoting Civil Disorder and one count of Armed Criminal Action, both felony charges.
Investigators say the viral video captured Scott recklessly igniting and throwing explosive fireworks in a public area, endangering bystanders and causing property damage.
The footage prompted widespread concern and led to the official investigation.
Following his arrest, Scott was booked into custody and is awaiting further court proceedings.
Authorities emphasized that such reckless and dangerous behavior will be met with serious legal consequences, noting that the charges reflect the severity of the offense and the potential harm caused to the public.
