Cleveland Police Investigate Fatal Shooting of Two Teenagers
The teenagers were later identified as 16-year-old Julius Barron and 17-year-old Khalyn White.
Cleveland police are conducting an investigation following the deaths of two teenagers early Tuesday morning.
At approximately 1:05 a.m., officers responded to reports of a vehicle crash at the intersection of Warner Road and Jeffries Avenue.
Upon arrival, authorities discovered a vehicle that had collided with a pole.
Inside the vehicle, officers found two male occupants, both suffering from gunshot wounds.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrived at the scene and pronounced both victims deceased.
The teenagers were later identified as 16-year-old Julius Barron and 17-year-old Khalyn White.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under active investigation by Cleveland police.
It is currently unclear whether the gunshots occurred before or after the crash or if the victims were targeted.
