Emergency Response Underway Following Aircraft Crash Near Lancaster Airport

Dallas County, Texas — Emergency crews from the Lancaster Fire Department are responding to an aircraft crash that occurred Monday afternoon near the Lancaster Regional Airport.

At approximately 4:00 p.m., a Beechcraft King Air carrying three individuals crashed into a field near the 700 block of Ferris Road, between Texas Highway 342 and Interstate 45.

The location is near Pinto Road, close to the Lancaster Airport.

Authorities have confirmed that injuries have been reported, though the extent and severity of those injuries have not yet been released.

First responders, including fire and medical personnel, remain on scene providing aid and securing the area.

The cause of the crash remains unknown at this time.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has confirmed it is investigating the incident to determine what led to the crash.

Officials are urging members of the public to avoid the area to ensure that emergency operations can continue without interference.

WALKER COUNTY, Ala. — Alabama State Troopers are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that claimed the life of a 63-year-old man Thursday evening in Walker County.

Authorities identified the victim as Roger D. Naramore, a resident of Nauvoo, Alabama.

The collision occurred shortly before 7:30 p.m. on Alabama Highway 5, approximately five miles north of Jasper.

According to Senior Trooper Gregory Corble, Naramore was operating a Suzuki VZ800 motorcycle when he collided with a Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by 32-year-old Kayla House.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene, but Naramore was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of his injuries.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
