North Port Imagine School on lockdown after ammunition discovered on a school bus

The North Port Imagine School campus was placed on lockdown Thursday morning after ammunition was discovered on a school bus.
The North Port Police Department (NPPD) announced the lockdown on social media, stating that officers were on the scene conducting a thorough investigation related to school safety.
By 11:15 AM, the lockdown had been lifted.
The ammunition was located by a bus driver upon the students’ arrival at school, according to NPPD. Students who were transported on that bus are being questioned as part of the ongoing investigation.
Prior to the lockdown being lifted, NPPD informed parents that they would not be allowed to pick up their children from the school.
Representatives from Imagine School declined to comment on the incident.

23-year-old Monte Baker killed in shooting at downtown Medusa Restaurant & Lounge Cleveland
CLEVELAND — A 23-year-old man was fatally shot early Sunday morning inside a downtown Cleveland nightclub, according to the Cleveland Division of Police.
Officers were dispatched to Medusa Restaurant and Lounge at approximately 2:30 a.m. after receiving reports of gunfire inside the establishment.
Upon arrival, police located a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds.
Despite emergency response efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office later identified the victim as Monte Baker, 23.
Detectives from the Cleveland Police Homicide Unit have taken over the investigation.
At this time, no suspects have been identified or arrested, and authorities have not released details regarding what led up to the shooting or the exact location within the property where the incident occurred.
The investigation remains active and ongoing, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
