Victims killed in Holmes County trail ride mass shooting identified
Several other individuals sustained injuries and were transported to local hospitals.

Holmes County, MS – A devastating mass shooting incident occurred late Saturday night during a trail ride near North Highway 17, just five miles outside of Lexington.
The incident resulted in the tragic deaths of three individuals and injuries to eight others.
According to Sheriff Willie March, the shooting took place following the Holmes County Consolidated School’s homecoming celebration.
The suspect, believed to be armed with a firearm equipped with a switch, opened fire into the crowd after an altercation.
The three victims who lost their lives have been identified as 25-year-old Martel Gibson, 19-year-old Shundra Chestnut, and 19-year-old John Jenkins.
Several other individuals sustained injuries and were transported to local hospitals.
Law enforcement authorities are actively investigating the case and seeking to identify the suspect or suspects involved in the shooting.

42-year-old Kevin Garr dead after Clifton Heights shooting

CINCINNATI, OH – A 42-year-old man was fatally shot in Clifton Heights on Saturday afternoon, prompting an investigation by the Cincinnati Police Department (CPD) Homicide Unit.
Authorities responded to reports of a shooting in the 600 block of Riddle Road at approximately 4:13 p.m. on March 9.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim, later identified as Kevin Garr, 42, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Emergency responders transported Garr to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
Detectives from the CPD Homicide Unit have launched an active investigation and are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
