A deadly shooting occurred outside Tequila B’s bar on the North Freeway in Houston early Sunday morning.

The incident took place around 2:45 AM as the bar was closing.

Multiple suspects opened fire on a crowd of approximately 30 people, striking two individuals.

One of the victims, identified as Steve Rodriguez, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other victim, also an employee of the bar, was critically injured and remains hospitalized.

Houston Police Department (HPD) is actively investigating the shooting and is searching for a dark-colored sedan believed to be connected to the incident.

No arrests have been made at this time.

Timothy Haynes, 18, was pronounced dead at approximately 11:54 p.m. at the scene of the incident on Wales Court, according to Charleston County Coroner Bobbi Jo O’Neal.

They continued life-saving measures until paramedics arrived, but Haynes succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
