Victims Killed in Washington Park Shooting identified

CHICAGO – Two young men were fatally shot inside a residence on Chicago’s South Side Tuesday evening, according to police.
The shooting occurred in the 5300 block of South Wabash Avenue in the Washington Park neighborhood just after 6:30 p.m. on January 28, 2025.
Authorities identified the victims as 19-year-olds Daquan Walters and Jeramiah Lee.

Both individuals sustained multiple gunshot wounds and were transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where they were pronounced dead.
At this time, no suspects are in custody, and detectives from the Chicago Police Department are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Monroe, LA – The Monroe Police Department (MPD) is actively investigating a shooting incident that took place on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Hibbett Sports, located in the 2700 block of Louisville Avenue.
