69-year-old Seung Han Ho taken into custody after shooting at K Towne Plaza in Carrollton Texas during business meeting
CARROLLTON, Texas — Authorities have taken a 69-year-old man into custody following a deadly shooting at a business meeting in the K Towne Plaza area, an incident that left one person dead and three others injured.
Investigators later connected the suspect to a second fatal shooting at a nearby apartment, bringing the total number of victims to five.
According to the Carrollton Police Department, officers and fire crews were dispatched at approximately 9:57 a.m. on May 5, 2026, to the 4000 block of State Highway 121 after receiving reports of a shooting involving multiple victims.
Upon arrival, first responders discovered four adults suffering from gunshot wounds. One male victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The remaining three victims — two men and one woman — were transported to a nearby hospital and are reported to be in stable condition.
While processing the initial scene, officers were alerted to a second shooting reported around 11:13 a.m. in the 2700 block of Old Denton Road.
Responding units located another adult male deceased inside an apartment.
Investigators later confirmed that both incidents were connected and carried out by the same suspect.
Police identified the suspect as Seung Han Ho, 69, who was taken into custody at approximately 12:12 p.m. following a brief foot pursuit near the Korea Town area, close to Interstate 35 and the President George Bush Turnpike.
Authorities confirmed there is no ongoing threat to the public.
During questioning, detectives say Ho confessed to shooting all five victims.
According to investigators, the suspect cited financial disputes tied to business dealings as the motive behind the attacks, which reportedly occurred during or in connection with a business meeting.
Law enforcement officials continue to gather evidence and piece together the timeline of events across both crime scenes.

14-Year-Old Middleton High School Student Carson Chrapkowski Dies After Bicycle Crash, Driver Alyssa Anderson Arrested
MIDDLETON, Idaho — A 14-year-old Middleton High School student has died after being struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle near the high school Friday night, according to the Middleton Police Department.
The teenager was transported by Life Flight to St. Luke’s Boise following the crash but died from his injuries early Saturday morning.
Middleton police said the crash involved a vehicle and a bicyclist near Middleton High School. The 14-year-old suffered critical injuries and was flown to a Boise hospital for emergency medical treatment.
Police announced Saturday morning that the young bicyclist had succumbed to his injuries.
The teen was identified in the information provided for this report as Carson Chrapkowski, a Middleton High School student. However, the police department’s public statement did not release the teenager’s name.
Police arrested 41-year-old Alyssa Louise Anderson in connection with the crash. Anderson was booked into the Canyon County Jail.
According to police, Anderson is facing charges of vehicular manslaughter, aggravated DUI and leaving the scene of an injury accident.
Authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances leading up to the collision or the specific allegations supporting the DUI charge.
