Rochester Police have released the name of the auto shop employee who was fatally shot on Hollenbeck Street on Wednesday night.
Christopher Romero-Warren, 29, was working late at the auto shop when he was shot multiple times by an unidentified individual who entered the establishment.
The shooting occurred around 9:15 PM, not far from Route 104.
The Rochester Police Department (RPD) is actively investigating the motive behind the murder and has not yet identified any suspects.
Authorities believe the shooting was targeted.
He emphasized the need for greater safety measures and called for a reduction in criminal activity.
