Armando Carralero arrested and charged with murder of his wife Yuneisy Rodriguez

UPDATE: On 10/21/2024, at approximately 1:15 p.m., the Orlando Police Department responded to the commercial plaza located within the 5800 block of Lake Underhill Road in reference to a shooting.

Officers located a female suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Witnesses advised the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle.

Witnesses advised the suspect, who was the victim’s husband, fled the scene in a vehicle. Armando Verdecia Carralero (DOB 01/12/1970) was quickly identified as a suspect, and the information was released to other Florida agencies.

Carralero was located by the Indian River Sheriff’s Office and was taken into custody without incident.

The deceased victim has been identified as Yuneisy Labrada Rodriguez (DOB 5/17/1980).

Carralero is charged with First Degree Murder with a Firearm. OPD is not looking for any additional suspects at this time.

ORIGINAL REPORT:

This afternoon around 1pm, OPD officers responded to a shopping center at the intersection of Lake Underhill Rd & S Semoran blvd for a man down. Officers and a District Chief were also dispatched a few blocks away to OFD Station 11 for what dispatchers called “A Unique Shooting Situation”. It is unknown at this time if the two are related.

OPD provided the following information:

On 10/21/2024, at approximately 1:15 p.m., officers responded to a reported medical emergency near Lake Underhill Rd. and S. Semoran Blvd.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a deceased adult female.

This is an active and ongoing investigation.

18-year-old Kyler Naely charged for the murder in shooting death of 16-year-old Ja’Tycie Williams

An 18-year-old suspect has been arrested and charged in a deadly shooting that occurred in October, which claimed the life of a 16-year-old and injured another.

The incident began on October 6, 2024, shortly after 12:45 a.m., when officers were called to a shooting on I-244 near Yale Avenue.

Upon arrival, they discovered a gray SUV riddled with bullet holes and shattered windows. Investigators determined that seven people were inside the vehicle at the time of the shooting.

Two occupants of the vehicle suffered gunshot wounds.

One victim, 16-year-old Ja’Tycie Williams, sustained critical injuries and succumbed to them several weeks later. The other victim suffered a minor gunshot wound to the arm and survived.

Preliminary investigations revealed the incident was linked to a fight at the Tulsa State Fair earlier that evening.

Witnesses reported that the altercation, which occurred as the group was leaving the fairgrounds, likely escalated into the highway shooting.

Following an in-depth investigation, Tulsa Police Homicide Detectives identified 18-year-old Kyler Naely as the suspect responsible for the shooting.

On November 19, 2024, Naely was arrested, charged with first-degree murder, and booked into the Tulsa County Jail.
