Baltimore Man Arrested and Charged with First-Degree Murder in Fatal Yale Avenue Shooting

Baltimore police have arrested and charged a suspect in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred on Yale Avenue.

Officials confirmed that 27-year-old Matthew Crawley has been taken into custody and charged with first-degree murder following the fatal shooting of 27-year-old Taijah Addison.

On March 6, at approximately 12:55 p.m., officers responded to the 700 block of Yale Avenue after receiving reports of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers discovered Addison seated inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound to the upper body.

Despite life-saving efforts, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Shortly after the shooting, patrol officers arrested Crawley after reviewing surveillance footage from the area.

Following his arrest, Crawley was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was formally charged with first-degree murder.

Authorities have not yet disclosed a possible motive for the shooting, and the investigation remains ongoing.

42-year-old Kevin Garr dead after Clifton Heights shooting

CINCINNATI, OH – A 42-year-old man was fatally shot in Clifton Heights on Saturday afternoon, prompting an investigation by the Cincinnati Police Department (CPD) Homicide Unit.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting in the 600 block of Riddle Road at approximately 4:13 p.m. on March 9.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim, later identified as Kevin Garr, 42, suffering from a gunshot wound.

Emergency responders transported Garr to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.

Detectives from the CPD Homicide Unit have launched an active investigation and are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
