On the morning of September 3, at approximately 7 a.m. local time, a tragic traffic accident occurred near Foshan Middle School in Dongping County, Tai’an City, Shandong Province.

A bus, custom-designed to transport students, veered off the road and plowed into a group of students on their way to school.

At least 11 killed, including 5 children, and 13 others injured after bus crashes onto sidewalk.

The driver involved in the school bus crash has been detained, according to Shanghai Daily.

Graphic videos circulating online show several victims, including children, lying on the ground.
