17-year-old arrested for the murder of 31-year-old Dambrelle Thomas in Natchez
Authorities said the suspect then barricaded himself in the old Thompson school before surrendering to police.

A 17-year-old has been arrested in Natchez in connection with the fatal shooting of a woman. The incident occurred just after 1:30 PM on Sunday, September 8th, in the 1100 block of George F. West Boulevard.
The victim, 31-year-old Dambrelle Thomas, was pronounced deceased at the scene after being shot in the upper chest and arms.
According to Natchez Police Commander Jerry Ford, a prior altercation had taken place between the 17-year-old and a man at the residence.
Following the dispute, the teenager left the home, returned with a shotgun, and fired the weapon inside the residence.
Authorities said the suspect then barricaded himself in the old Thompson school before surrendering to police.
The teenager’s identity has not been released, and they are expected to be charged as an adult.

42-year-old Kevin Garr dead after Clifton Heights shooting

CINCINNATI, OH – A 42-year-old man was fatally shot in Clifton Heights on Saturday afternoon, prompting an investigation by the Cincinnati Police Department (CPD) Homicide Unit.
Authorities responded to reports of a shooting in the 600 block of Riddle Road at approximately 4:13 p.m. on March 9.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim, later identified as Kevin Garr, 42, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Emergency responders transported Garr to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
Detectives from the CPD Homicide Unit have launched an active investigation and are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
