A woman was tragically killed in a shooting incident that occurred on Sunday afternoon in Wyoming.

The Wyoming Police Department responded to a call reporting gunfire near 36th Street and Blue Bird Avenue at approximately 12:40 PM.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a 25-year-old woman who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

Despite being transported to the hospital for emergency treatment, she succumbed to her injuries.

Timothy Haynes, 18, was pronounced dead at approximately 11:54 p.m. at the scene of the incident on Wales Court, according to Charleston County Coroner Bobbi Jo O’Neal.
