McKinney, TX — On Saturday, November 9, 2024, at approximately 5:50 PM, the McKinney Police Department responded to multiple 911 calls reporting gunshots in the vicinity of Chestnut Street and Colorado Street.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victims were identified as a 17-year-old Kajerriyawn M and a 22-year-old LaMarrya Ransom.

Both individuals were promptly transported to nearby hospitals for medical treatment but ultimately succumbed to their injuries.

This incident is currently under active investigation.

The Charleston County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred late Sunday night in North Charleston. Timothy Haynes, 18, was pronounced dead at approximately 11:54 p.m. at the scene of the incident on Wales Court, according to Charleston County Coroner Bobbi Jo O’Neal.
