One Dead, Five Injured in Lawrence Heights Shooting in Toronto
TORONTO, ON — A shooting in the Lawrence Heights neighbourhood on Tuesday night has left one man dead and five others hospitalized, according to Toronto police and paramedics.
Emergency services were dispatched to the area of Flemington Road and Zachary Court, near Ranee Avenue and Allen Road, at approximately 8:30 p.m. on June 3, 2025, after receiving multiple 911 calls reporting gunfire.
When first responders arrived on scene, they found several victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
Toronto Paramedic Services confirmed that one male victim was pronounced deceased at the scene, while five others were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Initial reports suggested as many as seven individuals may have been injured, but police have since confirmed six victims in total, including the deceased.
