UPDATE: Two students at Taylor High School, Trinity Mack (17) and Brayden Severance (16), were arrested and charged with a felony on Thursday after making a threatening comment that was perceived as a joke.

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident and determined that the threat, while intended as a joke, was serious enough to warrant criminal charges.
