Mount Olivet City, Kentucky – A 32-year-old woman is in custody after the dismembered body of her mother was discovered behind their home in Robertson County.

Kentucky State Police were called to a home on Brierly Ridge Road on Wednesday afternoon following a 911 call reporting a dead body.

A man who had arrived to work on Trudy Fields’ property said he could not get a response when he knocked on the door.

Upon walking around to the back of the house, he discovered a pile of hair, a blood-stained mattress, and drag marks in the grass.

The man followed the drag marks to the backyard, where he found what he believed to be Trudy Fields’ dismembered body.

When troopers arrived, they confirmed the gruesome discovery and found additional body parts on another mattress and a blood-stained stick on the back porch.

The man told police that he had last seen Trudy Fields the previous day when she accompanied them to the property gate.

He noted that Trudy Fields and her daughter, 32-year-old Torilena Fields, were the only people at the home and that Torilena had been behaving strangely, casting spells on them and being confrontational.

Upon entering the home, authorities found multiple body parts cooked inside a stainless steel pot in the oven.
