Newton, TX – Authorities are actively searching for three suspects following a deadly home invasion early Monday morning that claimed the life of a 34-year-old man.According to Newton Police Chief Will Jackson, officers responded to a reported shooting in the 300 block of College Street just after 2:00 a.m. on February 12, 2025. Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of Tamarcus Traylor, 34, who had suffered fatal gunshot wounds.

According to Newton Police Chief Will Jackson, officers responded to a reported shooting in the 300 block of College Street just after 2:00 a.m. on February 12, 2025.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of Tamarcus Traylor, 34, who had suffered fatal gunshot wounds.

Witnesses reported seeing three men dressed in black fleeing the scene in a black or dark-colored vehicle, possibly a Chrysler 300.

Newton County Sheriff Colton Havard stated that preliminary findings indicate the incident was a home invasion robbery, which turned violent.

The suspects forcibly entered the residence before fatally shooting Traylor and escaping.

Authorities, including Newton Police and Newton County Sheriff’s deputies, are actively searching for the three unidentified suspects.

Law enforcement officials urge anyone with information regarding the shooting or the suspects’ whereabouts to contact the Newton Police Department or the Newton County Sheriff’s Office immediately.

Byron, WY – Authorities are investigating a devastating shooting incident that occurred Monday afternoon in the small town of Byron, Wyoming, leaving multiple victims, both deceased and injured. According to Big Horn County Sheriff Ken Blackburn, law enforcement responded to a 911 call at approximately 1:30 p.m. reporting gunfire at a residence on the south side of Byron.

According to Big Horn County Sheriff Ken Blackburn, law enforcement responded to a 911 call at approximately 1:30 p.m. reporting gunfire at a residence on the south side of Byron.

Upon arrival, officers from the Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office, Wyoming Highway Patrol, and Lovell Police Department discovered multiple gunshot victims inside the home.

Some were found alive and in need of medical attention, while others were deceased.

Among those affected was Cliff Harshman, a devoted father and husband, who suffered the unimaginable loss of his three daughters, one still fighting for life.
