2 Injured in Train Accident in Bladensburg, Maryland
Bladensburg, Maryland – A vehicle was struck by a CSX train this morning in Bladensburg, Maryland.
The accident occurred at approximately 6:07 AM at the intersection of 52nd Avenue and Kenilworth Avenue.
Two individuals inside the vehicle were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The CSX Railroad is investigating the incident.

Emergency units were dispatched to 617 Ferguson Avenue after reports of the rail incident. Responders found a train that had derailed with vehicles involved.
