Twin Falls In-N-Out Employee Ashley Identified Among Victims in Deadly Shooting
TWIN FALLS, Idaho — One of the victims killed in the deadly mass shooting at the newly opened In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls has been identified as Ashley, an employee who was working during the attack, according to a statement released by In-N-Out Burger owner Lynsi Snyder early Sunday morning.
The shooting, which unfolded outside the restaurant less than two weeks after it opened, left three people dead, including the suspected gunman, and seven others injured, according to the Twin Falls Police Department.
Authorities believe the suspect died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound after opening fire on customers and employees.
In a heartfelt statement released shortly after midnight Sunday, Lynsi Snyder confirmed Ashley’s death and honored her dedication to customers.
“She was taking care of our most important asset—our customers—and her life was taken by a disgusting human who doesn’t value the lives of others or his own,” Snyder said.
She added that the company is grieving alongside the victims’ families.
“In-N-Out will be mourning with the families and praying for them as they tread through a very painful season.”
The company has not released additional details about Ashley, but Snyder’s statement described her as a valued employee who was serving customers when the tragedy unfolded.
As investigators continue piecing together the timeline, witness accounts and viral video have drawn widespread attention to the actions of Jordan Salinas, an armed citizen who reportedly confronted the gunman during the shooting.
Cellphone footage captured outside the restaurant shows a man identified by multiple witnesses as Salinas exchanging gunfire with the suspect while customers and employees scrambled to escape.
Witness Lane Koehn, who recorded part of the incident from his vehicle, said Salinas’ actions may have distracted the gunman long enough for numerous people inside and outside the restaurant to flee to safety.
The video appears to show Salinas drawing his handgun—reportedly equipped with a suppressor—and advancing toward the suspect while under fire. At one point, he stumbles and dives into nearby bushes before regaining his footing and continuing to confront the shooter.
Police have not officially confirmed Salinas’ role in stopping the attack or whether he struck the suspect. Authorities also have not publicly credited any civilian intervention with preventing additional casualties.
Twin Falls police said the shooting claimed three lives, including the suspected gunman, while seven others were wounded.
Among those injured was Terry Dudley, who family members said was shot while inside a blue Tesla parked near the restaurant. He underwent surgery and was reported to be in stable condition.
Relatives connected to another gray Tesla involved in the incident said the vehicle’s driver was killed, while the passenger survived and continues to receive medical treatment.
Authorities have not yet released the identities of all victims or provided further details regarding the deceased.
Investigators have not released a motive for the shooting, and the suspect’s identity has not been publicly disclosed.
Several videos circulating online reportedly show the gunman firing at multiple vehicles, including the Teslas parked near the restaurant, before the shooting ended.
Detectives continue interviewing witnesses, reviewing surveillance footage, and processing evidence as they work to establish a complete timeline of the attack.
Following the shooting, social media users highlighted a 2024 post by Jordan Salinas in which he shared a photo of himself training with what appeared to be a firearm similar to the one seen in the viral footage.
The post included the message:
“Train like your life depends on it. Because God forbid, one day, it might. Stay free, stay safe and stay frosty.”
The post has since been widely shared as many have praised Salinas for reportedly risking his own life to confront the gunman and protect strangers during the deadly attack.
While many have hailed Salinas as a hero, law enforcement has not yet issued an official statement detailing his involvement or confirming whether his actions directly prevented further casualties.
The Twin Falls Police Department continues to investigate the shooting, and additional information is expected to be released as the investigation progresses.
TAUNTON, Mass. — One person was killed and seven others were injured in an overnight shooting at a house party in Taunton, Massachusetts, authorities said.
The shooting happened at approximately 12:35 a.m. Sunday at a residence in the 261 Weir Street area. Taunton police officers responded after receiving multiple 911 calls reporting gunshots.
When officers arrived, they found several people suffering from gunshot wounds. Investigators were also informed that additional victims had already been transported to area hospitals for medical treatment.
Authorities ultimately identified eight shooting victims, all of whom were reportedly in their early 20s.
One of the victims, 22-year-old Zirovick Depina of Brockton, was pronounced dead early Sunday morning, according to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office.
Of the seven surviving victims, one remains in serious but stable condition, while the others suffered injuries that were considered non-life-threatening. Their identities have not been publicly released.
The shooting occurred during a gathering at the residence. Images from the scene showed a tent and tables in the yard, along with white balloons and what appeared to be a photo backdrop near a garage.
A neighbor told authorities that large gatherings and loud parties had reportedly been common at the residence.
The home is located about a mile from the Taunton Police Department headquarters. The neighbor expressed concern about the shooting occurring in the area, particularly given the late-night activity.
The investigation is being conducted by Taunton Police, Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, and other investigative units. Detectives are working to determine what led to the gunfire and identify those responsible.
